Spain hosted the biggest Walk in Europe
On June 6, 2010 more than 6000 people took to the streets of Viladecans and Castelldefels in Spain to show their support for the World Food Programme’s mission to end child hunger. This made Walk the World Spain the biggest event in Europe. The two walks were organised by Unilever who put in an extraordinary effort to mobilise as many people as possible - with great success! One employee and her family alone managed to engage no less than 350 people. In the fight against hunger, every step counts - so we're truly grateful for this support!
