Since 2002, TNT joined forces with the WFP to offer its logistics skills and other resources to help combat world hunger. Since the start of the partnership, TNT has invested an equivalent of €51 million in the partnership. Besides this, TNT employees have raised €14.4 million for WFP’s School Meals Programme in Cambodia, The Gambia, Malawi, Nicaragua and Tanzania. From the 2004 tsunami to the recent earthquake in Haiti TNT supported WFP in 45 emergencies with both human resources as well as logistics supplies. TNT is the founding father of Walk the World which started in Asia in 2003 as an employee initiative.
